Emily Huff is a strength and conditioning coach who specializes in helping women achieve their health and fitness goals across a lifetime.

With an M.S. and B.S. in Kinesiology (Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science), a CSCS certification and over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, I am a well-rounded coach helping women lead healthier lives through exercise.

My passion for exercise, and specifically strength training, comes from what I call 'the surge'. The surge is that rush of endorphins that pumps through the body during or after a workout session that leaves you feeling like you can take on any challenge that comes your way. I have used exercise to transform my way of thinking. Becoming a stronger and more capable person physically has helped me step outside my comfort zone and realize there are no boundaries on what I can achieve both in and out of the gym. Mastering movements and becoming a stronger version of myself allowed me to have the confidence to reach beyond what I thought was possible. Helping others chase this feeling is what drives me!

My Niche

In addition to my years of perinatal training experience, as well as having the Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism Coach certification, I have also spent hundreds of hours reading research and conducting my own original research on prenatal and postpartum exercise considerations as a part of my M.S. in Kinesiology. My research interests include: diastasis recti, vigorous exercise during pregnancy and negative postpartum outcomes, and CrossFit during pregnancy. I also continue to stay abreast of relevant topics and evidence based practice through continuing education.
